Inexpensive ideas to turn an 8 yr old boys room into a jungle?

we are putting up a whimsical jungle theme mural. I have a small upholstered adult chair that we want to cover or somehow transform into a critter or something else matching the theme. any cheap crafty websites would be helpful too. Thanks
